Restaurant fire in Sturgeon Falls this morning

Emergency crews were dispatched to fire at a pizza restaurant on Highway 17 in Sturgeon Falls this morning (Friday).

A listener was driving by the Marco Polo Pizzeria just before 7 o’clock this morning and says fire crews, ambulance and police were all on scene.

There was plenty of flames and dark smoke billowing from the building.

The Nugget reports no one was inside and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been contacted.
