Just in case you forgot what winter was like, Mother Nature is bringing a reminder to the area.

There aren’t any weather warnings or watches for North Bay, but there is mixed precipitation and snow in the forecast.

We could get about 5 cm of snow today, including wet snow this afternoon.

Another 5 cm of snow is possible tonight.

Strong winds are also expected, around 30 km/h with gusts into the 50 km/h range.

Meantime, a snowfall warning is in effect in the South River and Burk’s Falls area.

15 to 25 cm of snow is expected there.
