Two more riding associations for the Northern Ontario Party

Two more Northern Ontario Party riding associations have been formed and two more candidates named.

Shawn Poirier (pictured above with Party Leader Trevor Holliday) is the candidate in Timiskaming-Cochrane while Tommy Lee (pictured below) is running for the Northern Ontario Party in Algoma-Manitoulin.

Leader Trevor Holliday is the Nipissing candidate.

Next up, they’re looking to set up a riding association in the Thunder Bay area.

Meantime, the party’s platforms will be released this week.

One includes elected members voting on issues based on how the majority of their constituents want them to vote.

The party says they’ll create a standard polling method that they’ll commit to using before all votes.
