It was reported Thursday that a  23 year old North Bay man being charged as part of a provincial child exploitation investigation.

23 year old Tyler Loucks has been charged with Luring a person under 16, invitation to sexual touching and two counts each of sexual interference and sexual assault.

North Bay Police have released more information on the specific case.

Police say between January and February of this year the accused and the female victim met on Whisper, a free mobile app where users post anonymous messages in the form of text overlaid on a picture.

Police say after several days of chatting on the app the two met at a local coffee shop.

Police say the victim was sexually assaulted on two occasions after she was invited to his apartment.

Police add in March the victim received several sexually explicit text messages.
