Paul Goulet Has Stepped Down As Chair of Invest North Bay

Invest North Bay has a new chair.

Canadore President George Burton assumes the role following the resignation of Paul Goulet, who is moving on to spend more time with family.

The board has been working to engage the community, investors and partners focused on growing and developing the city.

Goulet is hopeful the work done in the first year of Invest North Bay pays large dividends for the city.

He says, “I think that we actually took a concept from inception and got phase one done, which is the incorporation of Invest North Bay, which is all kinds of latitude and flexibility to help the city grow economically.”

Mayor Al McDonald is thanking Goulet for the work he’s done with the board, “He’s taken an idea and a concept and moved it right through incorporation.  There’s a lot of good steps that have been taken, that are ongoing right now and (we) just appreciate his support and interest in our city.”
