Invest North Bay is the focus of a couple of items at Council tonight (Wednesday).

There’s a public presentation providing an update on the Development Corporation.

Meantime, one report that’s coming to council involves a request for a million dollars in funding for Invest North Bay.

The money would come from the Property Development Reserve and would support a future equity investment fund and future marketing initiatives.

Measures of success would be reported annually.

Another report coming forward involves the on street winter parking ban.

The recommendation is to ban parking from 3 am to 6:30 am in the Downtown, until 8:30 am on Cul-de-sacs and dead end streets and from 3 am to 7:30 am on all remaining streets.

The ban would also run from November 1st to April 15th.

There’s no committee meeting tonight, with the Regular Council session getting underway at 6:30 pm.
