It’s another step forward in the process of setting up a casino in North Bay.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has signed a 20-year Casino Operating and Services Agreement with Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited involving the North Gaming Bundle.

Effective today Gateway takes over operations and the assets of the North Gaming Bundle, including Casinos in Thunder Bay and Sault Ste Marie, along with OLG Slots in Sudbury.

They also have the opportunity to build two new gaming facilities, one in North Bay and the other in the Kenora area.

OLG previously announced the maximum number of live gaming table positions in North Bay would be 120 with a maximum of 300 slot machines.
