Expect to see an information picket outside the Lakeshore Drive LCBO from 4-6 pm today (Friday).

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union is concerned about LCBO privatization efforts.

The union has criticized the government’s move to sell beer, wine and cider in grocery stores, calling it “creeping privatization”.

Ontario consumers could see major changes to the way beer, wine and spirits are sold if the Liberal government adopts the recommendations of an advisory panel it set up to find ways of squeezing more value out of Crown assets.
