Great news for North Bay’s upcoming Armed Forces Day and the lead up to Canada 150.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are resuming their season with an air show this weekend in Dundurn, Saskatchewan.

They’re slated to be in North Bay next weekend, on June 16th and 17th.

Back in mid-May, the precision flying team put their tour schedule on hold to undertake two weeks of intense training.

At that time local officials with Armed Forces Day and the Lead up to Canada 150 were told to continue to plan for the Snowbirds participation in North Bay’s event.

Armed Forces Day is Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Canadore College Aviation Campus (10 am to 2 pm)

The Lead up to Canada 150 Twilight Air Demo goes Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the North Bay Waterfront (5 pm to 9:30 pm)
