Several medals for CT33 Thunderbirds swim team members at a long course championship in Sudbury.

14 year old Trael Daly Stevens (pictured) led the medal count for the Thunderbirds placing first in all of his events and earning the High Points Trophy for his age group.

He also broke three team records earned a Canadian Junior National qualifying time in the 100m breast stroke.

Riley Periard placed second in the 50 metre Fly and 200 metre Free events and was third in three other events.

Her performance in the 100 metre Fly event also qualified Periard for the Ontario Short Course Festival event happening later this month.

Samuel Denomme earned two first place finishes, with a Provincial Qualifying time in 100 metre Breast.

Peyton Paralovos won two silver and two bronze.

Swimmers with top three finishes were Sydney Doidge, Jesse Hammond and Jenna Wall.

Other swimmers with top eight performances were Michael Denomme, Evan Kilroy, Sheldon Kilroy, Emilia Lainevool, Noah Papatheordorou, Cole Paralovos, Jaiden Paralovos, Ryleigh Paralovos, Olivia Trottier and Gavin Wall.

Personal best times were posted by all CT33 Thunderbird swimmers with special mention to Zackary Boucher, Timothy Corbeil, Grace Hong, Annika Lainevool, Rachelle Ouellette and Kiara Palavicino.
