North Bay OPP say their investigation into Wednesday’s fatal collision is continuing.

Police say a pedestrian was struck by a tractor trailer on Highway 63 near McConnell Lake Road and the pedestrian died while being taken to hospital.

The highway was closed for atleast 4 hours.
A 41 year old Powassan man is facing several charges following an domestic related incident earlier this month.

He’s been charged with assault causing bodily harm, mischief under $5,000, assault, aggravated assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and aggravated sexual assault.
Almaguin Highlands OPP have charged a 22 year old male with driving while impaired and racing a motor vehicle with excessive speed. Police say they made the arrest after observing a vehicle heading south on Highway 11.

Almaguin Highlands OPP say they’re investigating a break, enter and mischief incident recently at the Children’s Centre in Perry Township. Police say someone damaged a door, a glass window and emptied a fire extinguisher and leaving a mess.

Meantime, there was a break and enter done to a storage room at Armour Township. Several items were stolen and there was vandalism done too.

Police say there was also thefts in the Kearney and Emsdale area with businesses and cars broken into and cash stolen.
