A 41 year old city man has been charged with robbery with violence.

It’s alleged a man was walking from Fisher Street to McIntyre East before 11:30 on Saturday night when he was approached from behind and assaulted, causing him to fall to the ground and black out.

It’s further alleged over 400-dollars was taken from his pocket.

Police say the victim and the accused are known to each other.
