A 31 year old male from Gatineau, Quebec is facing several charges after police received a request from Gatineau authorities to apprehend a vehicle on Highway 11 in North Bay last Thursday.

The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of a victim in the original complaint filed with Gatineau police.

The latest charges include dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight while pursued by a peace officer, failing to comply with a probation order and failing to comply with a recognizance request.

OPP detachments in Mattawa, North Bay, Powassan and Almaguin Highlands, the North Bay Crime Unit, North Bay Police and The Emergency Response Team were all involved in the investigation.
