NOSSA Track and Field Championship and 3 NDA soccer finals taking place in the city today

The NOSSA track and field championship is taking place in the city today (Wednesday).

Most events are at Cundari Field at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall while the javelin and discus competition is being held at Chippewa.

The top four finishers of each event at the NDA championship along with the top five from Sudbury, top four from Sault Ste Marie and top three from the North Shore will be looking to qualify for OFSAA in early June in Windsor.

And the NDA soccer finals are lined up for later today at the Omischl Sports Complex.

The juniors boys final goes at 2 pm with Franco Cite playing St Joseph-Scollard Hall.

In senior boys, SJSH takes on Chippewa at 4 pm.

The varsity girls final also goes at 4pm with SJSH playing Algonquin.
