A call for train service in the north

Could a return be on the way for train service in Northern Ontario?

Timmins area MP Charlie Angus is making the push, calling the return a political priority of his and noting the All Aboard Northern Ontario Coalition is currently looking at steps to do just that.

He says the cuts show in uncertain terms that the government believes there are two Ontario’s.

Angus adds he will be working with provincial NDP members to further the efforts to return service that’s been gone for 5 years.
