Canada 150
Canada turns 150 on July 1 of next year and the feds have announced a Community Infrastructure Program.

The government has announced it’s increasing the cultural and recreational infrastructure projects under this program by $150-Million and $5.2-Million of that will be for Northern Ontario.

MP Anthony Rota says the money will be distrubuted by FedNor and the economic development arm of the government is now accepting applications.

Rota says this money will help expand and build new centres, whether it be a park, a hockey arena or a community centre.

He also says let him know about the application too, so he can help out in Ottawa.

Projects under this funding must be finished by the end of March 2018.

You can go to FedNor’s website (click HERE} for details on how to apply.
