Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli has announced over $240,000 in provincial funding for several local arts organizations.

14 organizations in all are receiving funding including $27,000 for the White Water Gallery, $24,000 for the Capitol Centre, $18,000 for the North Bay Symphony, $17,000 for the Near North Mobile Lab Collective, $15,000 for Woodland School and $12,000 for the On The Edge Fringe Festival.

Operating grants include:
$31,050 for Aanmitaagzi (Multi and Inter-Arts Organizations)
$26,154 for the Aboriginal Curatorial Collective (Arts Service Organizations)
$17,344 for the White Water Gallery (Visual Arts Artist-Run Centres & Organizations)
$16,961 for Near North Mobile Lab Collective (Media Arts Organizations)

Project grants include:
$27,000 for Chiminiwim (Indigenous Arts Projects)
$24,062 for the Capitol Centre (Ontario Dances & Northern Arts Projects)
$18,000 for the North Bay Symphony Orchestra (Music Production & Presentation Projects)
$15,000 for Wood Land School (Indigenous Arts Projects)
$12,000 for On the Edge Fringe Festival (Multi and Inter-Arts Projects)
$12,000 for Aanmitaagzi (Indigenous Artists in Communities Projects)
$10,000 for the Children’s Aid Society for the District of Nipissing and Parry Sound (Northern Arts Projects)
$10,000 for the White Water Gallery (Artists in Communities & Schools Projects)
$10,000 for CBACH (Compass)
$9,500 for Nipissing Region Curatorial Collective (Artists in Communities & Schools Projects)
$1,500 for Zakide (Exhibition Assistance)
