‘Poutine, Pints and Plaid’ is back again for a fourth year.

The unique fundraiser hosted by the Rotaract Club of North Bay – Nipissing goes February 2nd at the Grande Event Centre.

Everyone is encouraged to wear their favourite plaid, there’s gourmet poutine and Cecil’s craft beer, along with a DJ and dancing too.

Rotaract spokesperson Alex Rogerson says past events have been successful.

“Over the past three years, we’ve raised just about $11,000 for our three different recipients and each year it builds a little bit more,” she says.

This year’s event is supporting the Alzheimer’s Society.

“This year’s goal would be around $5,000 and we’re very excited, as this is the first year that we’ve been able to get sponsorship, and Rebuilt Resources is our major sponsor this year,” Rogerson adds.

Tickets are available at the Alzheimer’s Society (347 Sherbrooke St #401) or by emailing the Rotaract club: mail@rotaractclubnbn.com
