North Bay Police are looking for a robbery suspect.

Police say a male approached a vehicle at a gas station on Fisher Street just after midnight on Monday evening.

Police say the male attempted to open the vehicle door and demanded money from the occupants inside.

The vehicle drove away and the suspect then threw a metal bar which broke the driver side mirror.

The suspect is described as 5’10”, a thin build, wearing a mask, a dark hooded jacket with red and white stripes on the arms.

Police say the jacket went below the waist.

Police are looking for the suspect in connection with a jewelry theft last Friday on Main Street.

Police say someone has expressed interest in several pieces of jewelry and handled the boxes several times.

After a male left the store it was discovered the boxes were empty and the jewelry was stolen.

The male is being described as having olive skin, dark hair, heavy set, approximately 35-40 years old and having an unfamiliar accent.
