It’s called “Be Canadore Ready” and the new online tool helps students develop their own personalized supports for success.
There are 15 questions involved, on everything from academic and financial readiness to personal and commitment factors.
Their answers then trigger a learning and support plan tailored to strengths and weaknesses.
“The tool is incredibly powerful because it has the potential to speed up our student success strategy initiatives by months,” said Shawn Chorney, vice-president of enrolment management, Indigenous and student success.

“The beauty of this innovative resource is that it doesn’t wait for something insurmountable to occur that cannot be overcome, it allows us to reach out and help when circumstances are much more favourable.”
The Be Canadore Ready tool is available to anyone online at becanadoreready.com.
