Pedestrian hit by vehicle dies

North Bay Police say they have an update regarding a pedestrian hit  by a vehicle on McKeown Avenue last month.
Police say the Coroner’s Office informed them that 71 year old Claudette Telford of North Bay died as a result of the injuries she sustained from the collision.
North Bay Police Chief Paul Cook says “Our thoughts go out to all involved in this tragedy,“We know it is a difficult time not only for the family and friends of the victim but also the driver and his loved ones. We ask everybody to please focus when driving, make eye contact with pedestrians and stay safe.”

The collision happened on November 25th at 10 am.

A 68 year old man from Rutherglen was charged with fail to yield to a pedestrian.
