Nipissing men's hockey team on the road while NDA Hockey Tournament continues locally

In OUA men’s hockey, the Nipissing Lakers wrap up the first half of the season this weekend with a couple games on the road.

They play Carleton tonight (Friday) and Concordia tomorrow afternoon.

Meantime, here in North Bay, the 42nd annual NDA Hockey Tournament continues at Memorial Gardens and West Ferris Arena.

Ten schools are taking part, including 7 local teams.

Widdifield and Franco Cite each have a win and a loss after day one.

West Ferris and Algonquin each have two ties, Almaguin has a tie and a loss while Chippewa and St Joseph-Scollard Hall lost both of their games Thursday.

Confederation and St Charles from Greater Sudbury along with Manitoulin are also playing.

Widdifield won the tournament last year.
